FOP Grant Recipients Featured in New York Times for research highlights on fertilty and aging
We’re proud to celebrate our very own grant recipients Dr. Monica Laronda, Dr. Kara Goldman, and Dr. Francesca Duncan, who were recently featured in The New York Times for their groundbreaking work on ovarian health.
In this feature, "It’s Time to Give the Ovary Some Respect," our researchers are leading a long-overdue paradigm shift. For decades, much of the ovary’s biological makeup was dismissed by the scientific community as "literal trash." This long-overdue shift in thinking is happening because researchers like these dared to ask better questions and because early-stage ideas were given the chance to grow.
By providing critical seed funding, we help advance bold research, challenge outdated narratives, and reshape the future of women’s health. This is what it looks like when a spark becomes a movement.
