HOME Take Charge of Your Family’s Health May 5, 2011 Join Friends of Prentice for their Spring Ed Series Event “Take Charge of Your Family’s Health.” Physicians from Northwestern Memorial Hospital will engage in a panel discussion that addresses the main health issues that women, and the men and young children in their lives, need to be aware of – namely in the areas of heart health, bone health, prostate health, women’s health and teen health/ HPV. Women's Health, Adapting to Our Changing Needs Friends of Prentice is strongly committed to bringing visibility and clarity to women's health concerns. We know women will be better advocates for their healthcare when they are knowledgeable about diagnosis and treatment options as well as prevention. In 2005, Friends of Prentice began hosting the educational series as a way to reach out to the Chicago community as a philanthropic ambassador for physicians, programs and leadership of Northwestern Memorial Hospital and Prentice Women's Hospital. |
